1-Stop’s Booking System to be implemented in the Philippines.
1-Stop Connections (1-Stop) and members of Manila’s port community are excited by Manila International Container Terminal’s (MICT) announcement that 1-Stop is their chosen port community and appointment system provider.
MICT, a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services Inc., (ICTSI) has recognised 1-Stop’s Booking System as the tool to organise cargo movements in and around the port and surrounding communities.
Local government has supported the initiative to balance the flow of trucks on the road and flattening of peaks historically brought about by multiple, uncoordinated truck restrictions, and expects to see unplanned volume surges in and out of the terminals to be reduced dramatically. Michael Bouari, CEO, 1-Stop says "Our booking system is the tool that drives efficiencies to reduce those common issues. But it's not just a booking system – it’s a port solution for managing trucks, the terminal’s capacity and validating port community information."
"Being chosen as the port community system for Manila is extremely exciting, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the productivity improvement process," says Bouari. About 1-Stop
