Wednesday, October 26th 2022: Lyttelton Port Company implements the OneStop VBS at Midland Port

OneStop is excited to announce the upcoming implementation of the OneStop VBS at Lyttelton Port Company’s (LPC) Midland Port facility. The implementation of the OneStop VBS at Midland Port will allow for the seamless transfer of containers between the site with full visibility of empty containers at all times.

From 7 am (NZDT), Tuesday, 1 November 2022, all empty container movements in and out of LPC’s Midland Port will require a valid timeslot booking to be made via the OneStop VBS. The first timeslot bookings will be available from 1 pm (NZDT) on Friday, 28 October 2022.

When visiting our OneStop partner terminal, Transport Operators will be able to plan, book, and access their pick-up and drop-off requirements more efficiently via the OneStop VBS.

Transport Operators using the OneStop VBS at LPC’s Container Terminal and LPC’s City Depot will automatically gain access to LPC’s Midland Port facility.

All other Transport Operators servicing the Canterbury Region will need to add the new LPC Midland Port facility, by logging into the OneStop VBS and then going to the “My Account” menu, then to “Subsidiary”, and then to “Add Facility”.

Any Transport Operators who have not used the OneStop VBS previously will need to register using their NZ Business Number (NZBN) via the following link: https://www.1-stop.biz/signup2/vbs.

The LPC Midland Port implementation reaffirms OneStop’s commitment to providing New Zealand and the wider Canterbury Region supply chain with greater container visibility and seamless connectivity.
