Monday, 2 November 2026: Updated Carrier Access Agreements and New Account Requirements from 1 December 2026
Dear Valued Customer,
We’re writing to let you know about upcoming changes to how OneStop verifies OneStop Modal accounts and manages credit across the network.
If you already have a registered VBS account, these changes won’t affect how you use OneStop day to day. The only action you’ll need to take is to accept the updated Carrier Access Agreement terms (see below).
Effective 1 December 2026, the following changes will apply:
- New OneStop Modal VBS accounts: all new carrier registrations will undergo a financial standing check through an independent third-party provider and will be required to pay a refundable security deposit before their account is activated.
- Existing accounts: existing accounts will only be subject to a financial check and security deposit if they default on multiple payments after 1 December 2026.
- Security deposit: deposits are held for the duration of your VBS account access and refunded when your account is closed, less any outstanding amounts.
- Updated Carrier Access Agreement terms: each facility’s Carrier Access Agreement within VBS has been updated to reflect these changes, including consent for OneStop to obtain and periodically refresh financial check results. From 1 December 2026, you’ll be prompted to review and accept the updated agreement the next time you access each facility in the VBS. You won’t be able to make bookings at a site until its updated agreement has been accepted.
These measures bring OneStop in line with credit and verification practices already common across the transport and logistics sector. They’re designed to protect the reliability and security of the network for everyone who relies on it, while keeping disruption to your business to a minimum.
