Rail Tag and Release: New User Interface

Further to the below message, we have revised the new cutover date to Sunday 24 May at 2:00 am.

As part of the cutover Rail Tag and Release will be unavailable from  Saturday 23^rd May 10:00 PM to Sunday 24^th May 2:00 AM.

Only Rail Tagging and Release Service will be unavailable during this outage. Rail Tagging & Release EDI Messages received during outage will be queued up and will get processed once the transition is complete. All other services should work as normal.

As part of the migration, 1 month of data will be migrated to the new system. Please note, old web screens will no longer be available after the transition. User Guides for the new system are available at the following URLs:

Good morning,

1-Stop are pleased to announce our Rail Tag and Release product has had a UI makeover.

When you log-in from the 15^th of May all users will notice a new, easy to use interface with all the great features that are available today.

While we understand change can be hard, we have opened up access to the new environment so you will be able to have access to tag and release from today. Please note: all information entered into the new environment will not be transferred into the old environment.

We have included 2 new features into the interface which include:

1. Customers have the option to sign up for email notification when the Bayplan is available. Please note: you must have a ComTrac subscription to use this feature.
2. Customers will have access to view the reason for Tag/Release Rejection with our new and simplified Search&Release page

Along with the new UI, we have also added in two additional business validations:

1. RR021 – The container has already been released. No further action required.
2. RR888 – Custom Error. There is an issue with the request, so it was not processed. Please contact 1-Stop.

If you continue to use the old platform, from the 15^th of May you will need to log into our new URL to continue to Tag or Release. The old URL will no longer be available from this date. Please update your bookmarks to include this new URL.
