2021 1-Stop year in review!

2021 has been a big year for everyone! As it comes to an end we would like to thank all of you for your support, we couldn’t do it without you.

In lieu of an end of year celebration, 1-Stop provided staff with a $50 gift card which some have chosen to give to the OzHarvest Christmas Fundraising Appeal.  Now in its 7th year, every 50 cents raised allow OzHarvest to deliver the equivalent of one nutritious meal to an Australian in need.

We would also like to mention a few impressive mo’s that you may have seen from us last month, as our Mo Bros and Sisters raised $2,841 for Movember. 1-Stop matched the fundraising efforts, making our total donation $5,682. It’s a great cause and the proceeds go towards men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season, we are closing for Christmas between the 23rd and the 7th of January, but our help desk will be on deck as usual during that time on 1300 881 055, +612 9588 8900 or helpdesk@1.stop.com

From the 1-Stop Connections team

Celebrating our customers

We would like to thank all of our customers in Australia, New Zealand, Peru and the Philippines for working with us and supporting us through 2021, which has brought with it a range of new challenges.

This year we also partnered with our customers at a range of new sites in New Zealand including ContainerCo’s Mount Maunganui Container Park (MMP) in Tauranga, Manukau Container Park (MCP), in Auckland, Oak Road Container Park (OCP) in Auckland, and Northport (RCP) in Marsden Point.

We are excited to be working in partnership with ContainerCo! Margaret Harris is the company’s Manager of Innovation and Strategy and has been working closely with us on the implementation.

“Together we are developing 1-Stop Modal, which is now in use in ContainerCo depots across New Zealand. 1-Stop recognises that software needs to live in a perpetual beta state. The partnership between ContainerCo’s depots and 1-Stop’s Modal team, enables the software to continually evolve to meet the changing needs of the Logistics Industry,” said Ms Harris.

We also rolled out the 1-Stop Vehicle Booking System across four Metrobox sites in Neilson St, Savill Drive, Hamilton, and Rolleston, with all sites going live on the same day. Later in the year we added the Specialised Container Services Macrae Ave site in Mt Maunganui, Tauranga.

Product Updates

We are developing our 1-Stop Deliver App which is a mobile app designed with the needs of truck drivers in mind. Our aim is to support the transport industry and digitise processes by creating visibility for all parties.

This means the app is connected to the 1-Stop ecosystem – our VBS and 1-Stop powered Empty Parks. It will allow drivers to reduce paperwork and communicate with their transport company and destination in real time.

We have removed the details truck drivers don’t need, so they can easily see key items such as the address, timeslot and instructions. We will also be replacing the existing 1-Stop App and the zone status for terminals will then be available within the 1-Stop Deliver App.

During 2021, 1-Stop adopted a more agile way of working. We are standardising our approach across all 1-Stop products in our internal teams including product, delivery and development.

This is bringing greater benefits to our customers and we are meeting expectations through early and incremental value delivery. We are also expecting, accepting and welcoming change as part of the process – and making sure that change is of benefit to the customer.

We look forward to refining our new approach with you in 2022!
