1-Stop’s VBS enters the RO-RO sector

1-Stop Connections is proud to announce that Autocare has implemented the Vehicle Booking System (VBS) to manage parts of their operations.

The 1-Stop VBS has been introduced to manage parts of Autocare Services operations, in which Autocare has experienced an increase in efficiency for customers accessing Autocare facilities. The VBS has been implemented at 6 sites across Australia with the remaining 3 to be implemented by mid-March.

NSW – Kembla Grange (West Dapto) and Stennett Road, Ingleburn

VIC – Pinnacle Road, Altona North and Cherry Lane, Laverton

QLD – Whimbrel Street, Fisherman Islands and Radar Street, Port West

Nth QLD – Webb Drive, Townsville

WA – Abbott Road, Perth Airport

SA – Eastern Parade, Port Adelaide

The VBS enables Autocare Services to efficiently plan and manage the flow of trucks entering each facility and the vehicle collection process, allowing for accurate collection times and enhanced operational and administrative efficiency.

The introduction of the VBS allows third parties requiring access any of the above Autocare facilities to collect vehicles will need to make a direct online booking in advance via 1-Stop’s VBS and pay the associated access and booking fees, as outlined in Autocare’s recent announcement detailing the go-live dates and charges.

With this new partnership, 1-Stop share the vision that it doesn’t matter on the goods type, size or location of the facility, the VBS is adaptable for any situation. By partnering with Autocare Services for this new domestic implementation of the VBS, 1- Stop reaffirms its position as an industry leader optimising the supply chain with state-of-the-art technology across the whole supply chain.

With over 300 different parameters, the VBS is adaptable for any type of facility whether it be containerized cargo, bulk or ro-ro.
