VGM: New method for the new VIC terminal

Did you know that Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) will commence operations soon?

What this means besides cargo moving in and out of VICT, is that there is a new method of weighing containers. Only VICT is to use it, and it’s called WAT – Weighed At Terminal.

What does this mean for you?

You will be able to choose this third method when sending PRAs to VICT.

What does this mean if you use our website?

From 1st October, you’ll see the new WAT method in our PRA form.

What does this mean if you use your own software?

Your software developer should have applied a change to allow you to select the WAT method for VICT. We’ve contacted them already, so you shouldn’t need to do anything except fill those fields in if and when the time comes.

If you need a hand with anything, please contact our dedicated VGM team by sending an email to pravgmtest@1-stop.biz.

Talk soon,
Cam Tran
